This magazine introduces the reader/cook to other cultures and regions of the world so it gives a lot of pleasure and a global education to anyone open to a more sophisticated approach to their lives and their kitchens.
Great magazine at a great price! May 18, 2008
As a culinary student, this magazine is a must-have for me. Great subscription price with an Amazon guarantee - you can't go wrong. Saveur offers those with an interest in the culinary arts a taste of dishes from all around the globe. Great writers, great articles and glossy print-paper make this a good bargain as well. There's also very nice artwork and photography to complement the substantive writing, too.

I liked the "National Geographic" allusion that a couple other folks mentioned in their reviews. That is really very true. Saveur takes the best of both worlds-travel and food-and combines them in one of the most interesting, well-written and photographed magazines out there. When it arrives I feel like a wonderful little treasure has just entered the house and I look forward to the moment when I can sit down with a cup of tea (or maybe a glass of wine!) to read Saveur.

That may sound a bit racy, but it's true. Luscious pictures, great recipes, and global locales. What could be nicer?

I have been subscribing to this magazine for just over two years now and can easily say that Saveur is my favourite food magazine. I love the fact that it has such a strong international focus and brings in great visuals with each article. If you are looking for a magazine with loads and loads of recipes in it this might not be the magazine for you but if you are interested in reading well-written articles that may impart new knowledge and insights Saveur is the right fit. Of all the magzines I subscribe to this is definitely one of those magazines that I actually anticipate its arrival every month. Top quality magazine!
