G-R-E-A-T Sauces! November 11, 2003 This sauce will change the way you think about BBQ sauce. Once you try it, all the mass market sauces are a thing of the past. Kraft, smaft; Bullseye, smhullseye - these are you new best friend. The Rich & Mild is a fantastic sauce with a great blend of spices, dark molasses and honey. If you like a little heat (in the words of a famous TV chef "Kick it up a notch"), the Hot & Spicy is your sauce. The Chipotle peppers are roasted, so they are not too hot - juuuust enough to add a little heat to the mix. The Teriyaki is a great marinade for quick meals. Just marinade for a 1/2 hour to 1 hour and place on your local BBQ. I heat a few ounces and pour it over the meat just before I serve it. You wont be disappointed!
Best BBQ sauce on the planet November 10, 2003 Texans know their BBQ and who'd've thought it would take a California company to win my heart ... but, dang! this is great stuff. And now I don't have to fly out there to get it!The teriyaki sauce is my favorite. I picked up a sample pack of all the Big Acres' flavors last year, and they're all good, but I am Stuck on the teriyaki. It is especially great with fish. I've never really liked any of my efforts at grilled fish before, but with Big Acres Teriyaki it's no problem at all to wow your dinner guests. It's also great just for dipping (warm it in the oven first). My favorite thing to do is jerked pork or beef, grilled in a cast-iron skillet, and served in a simmering quarter-cup of teriyaki. Stab 'em on toothpicks or party picks and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Yee-ha! It's all natural, with zero preservatives -- but don't worry about how it "keeps" ... there won't be any left over!
A Must Have in your pantry! November 10, 2003 This sauce is the quickest way to make a tasty dinner. Throw a couple of chicken breasts basted with the Teriyaki on the grill, cook up some rice and toss together a salad - easy breezy in under 30 minutes. And the Teriyaki is just the tip of the iceburg when it comes to sauces. I highly recommend the Big Acres BBQ sauces as well as the Chipotle Peanut sauce. I'm not sure I could pick a favorite among the 4 sauces, but I highly recommend them!
