 Great Gift for the Pistachio Lover October 2, 2007
I ordered this on-line as a last minute birthday gift, for somebody I know who absolutely loves pistachios. It arrived pretty fast and the receiver said it was excellent. Even after you've eaten them all, you still have a nice jar too. These are great "universal" types of gifts when you want to find something other than a CD, DVD, or gift certificate.

I ordered this product and though my credit card was charged, I never received the merchandise. Weeks of calls and e-mails to J&D Fine Foods went unanswered. I finally had to seek resolution through Amazon who promptly intervened and my refund to my credit card was made.

I tasted these Pistachio Nuts and I must say they were out of this world! I am a big Pistachio fan and I really enjoyed what I purchased - would definetly recommend it to anyone!

My son is a pistachio fanatic. He loves pistachios and it has become a Christmas tradition that I give him pastichios in his stocking. This large, mammoth jar is just right for him.
Pistachios are a tree nut and these are known to be "heart healthy". One serving equals 49 pistachios according to the USDA. This serving contains 13 grams of fat, of which, only 1.5 grams are saturated fat. So most of the fat is a good fat and helps to lower cholesterol. Pistachios provide 10% of dietary fiber, Vitamin B6, thiamin, phosphorus and copper.All in all this Mammoth jar of pistachios not only is good for you, looks great and tastes great, but will make a wonderful present any time of the year.
