It does the job! Recommended to those in Party Plan/Direct Sales! July 25, 2008 I bought this because I am in the Party Plan/Direct Sales/Home Party business and I can't tell you how many times I have been in a Hostesses home, a guest brings a bottle of wine, and suddenly from the kitchen I hear someone exclaim, "You don't own a corkscrew?!?" So, as a part of my customer service, I began making sure that I had a corkscrew on hand...but, I wanted to make sure I had a quality corkscrew that would actually work when called upon. The Pedrini has worked exceptionally well for a great price.
best corkscrew ever January 18, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is by far the best corkscrew i have found. If this one breaks , i;m getting another. Very easy and the soft hand grip is very comfortable on the hands.
Best corkscrew anywhere! November 27, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I know there are several ways to open a bottle of wine, but the waiter's corkscrew will always be the best and most reliable method. This corkscrew is the best one I have ever found. Excellent quality, very user friendly, and really well priced!
In the declining days of cork, August 4, 2007 15 out of 16 found this review helpful
Even as better ways of closing a wine bottle rise to the top of the bottle, a wine-lover still needs to pull an occasional cork. This rubber cushioned, widely used corkscrew is the easiest, most convenient way to do it. Its grip is comfortable, the screw penetrates cork easily and the all-important two-step lever allows almost anyone to muscle the cork out of the neck. It also slips easily into a pocket and is cheap and light.
One evidence of this device's popularity is that it is frequently chosen to be imprinted with a winery name and given away as a premium in the wine trade.
