a little large March 3, 2008 I am sure this is a exceptional product. However, I should have measured my cooktop before ordering the grill. It is just too big.
Do not buy this Product February 25, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Has no Company Logo on Grill and paper placed w/Company name in side package. I have other product made by Calphalon and all have Company Logo on prodcut. I think this product is no good & chip. Not worth $15.00
Deceiving advertising February 24, 2008 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
The marketing for this pan is deceiving. I thought it was from Caphalon when I ordered it from Amazon. When I got the box it was shipped in a gigantic box with no Caphalon logo engraved on the handle nor the bottom of the pan. I am very disappointed. Now I am going to have to return this darn thing which will waste time and money.
Grill February 11, 2008 I don't know which was better the burgers or this pans performance. I used this with a ceramic sove top and it did not bend or warp during heat up. I even removed the pan from the stove as the grease and juices from the burgers started to fill the pan, and dumped in a disposal, the pan still retained the heat. Also the burgers I used were frozen and I had no problems with the meat sticking to the pan. I lightly brushed the non stick surface with EVOO prior to using and clean up was a snap. I would highly recommend this pan, and also give as a gift.
Better than other grill pans I've used, but not Calphalon quality February 1, 2008 7 out of 9 found this review helpful
I was very surprised that Calphalon put this pan out. There are not Calphalon markings on the pan or box, and there is not a steel bottom. Because there is not a steel bottom this pan will warp slightly under high heat. However, I own 2 other grill pans, both of which warp with heat due to the missing steel bottom. The pan is extremely large, much larger than I had expected. The hard-anodized surface is only mediocre quality. I've certainly used better, especially the pans put out by Anolon. Overall, I would recommend paying a lot more for a better quality pan, you'll probably be happier in the long run. However, since I only paid $15 for this, I can't complain too much.
