It's easy to use, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. I always felt that I was wasting a lot of pineapple when I cut it by hand; there is some waste with this tool, too, but no more than when cutting by hand, and it is a breeze to use.

This slicer makes pineapple cutting easy. I love fresh pineapple, but hated having to cut them with a knife... so I rarely bought whole pineapples.
After buying this slicer all that has changed... pineapple cutting is simple and easy. Hardest part is just finding the center and making sure you don't get too off-center as you're twisting.
Only drawback: Cuts same size rings no matter how big your pineapple is... so if you have a large pineapple, you might get some wasted fruit on the outside. (just cut that excess off with a knife, not that hard to do)
Cleans up easily... if you like pineapple, this is worth it.

This product is great. I love fresh pineapple but it was always such a bother to cut. Now it takes just a few minutes. I would recommend this to anyone!

I had the plastic version of this for a number of years and really thought it was great -- until it broke. After seeing the stainless one on Amazon I figured that it would be a good investment in durability. I have found the stainless steel one to be much easier to use than the plastic version. The stainless blade cuts through the pineapple much better than the plastic blade did. This was good purchase and I plan to buy one as a gift also.

This product really saves time. Now we use this tool for fruit trays using only one slice with a knife and you are done. Great product!
