cups break easily January 29, 2008 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
This product did a good job making yogurt. However, after I made my first batch, one of the cups shattered in my hands as I was opening it. As another reviewer said, I'm a small person, and I manage to use glass items all the time w/o breaking them, so I don't think it's me. I have returned this item and ordered a different yogurt maker. I would not recommend this item because the cups break so easily.

I have been using this product for over a month now and I love it!. The yogurt comes out very creamy. It beats commercially made yogurts by a mile. The homemade yogurt does not have or taste rubbery. The directions are very easy to follow.
I have been very satisfied with this product.
Very impressed April 15, 2007 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I have made 2 batches of yogurt with this machine using Yogurmet starter, which I bought at a local healthfood store, and whole organic milk. I followed the instructions on the yogurt starter and had no problems. The yogurt comes out very creamy and reminds me of Dannon with the fruit on the bottom, except I took fresh blueberries and strawberries cooked down with a little honey and placed the fruit with syrup on top. My only disappointment was that I paid $17 for expedited shipping and it took 4 days to receive it. I recieved a few other items that I ordered the same night by regular delivery 2 days earlier, but I am very happy with the machine.
Works as advertised February 11, 2007 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
Following the simple recipe and procedure outlined in the booklet that came with the yogurt maker resulted in delicious yogurt. I used Dannon plain fat free yogurt as a starter along with fat free milk and a half cup of powdered milk as suggested. I allowed it to process for eight hours and the finished product was very near in taste to the Dannon.
The jars are sturdy glass with heavy plastic snap on lids. Nice quality and easy to clean.
lemon-y goodness January 13, 2007 12 out of 18 found this review helpful
Two of the seven jars came broken, and after cooking yogurt (which, frankly, did not come out particularly deliciously), the second jar I opened broke as well. I am not a she-hulk, and I successfully use glasses and other fragile items each day without their shattering in my hands. However, this comes out to 3/7 of the jars breaking right away or almost right away. At this rate, I'll be lucky to get one more batch of yogurt out of this. I'm going to be returning this immediately.
