Drink more wine! Execellent Gift item August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is the third one that I have purchased. The first one was for my wife and the last two have been gifts for wine loving fiends. This is one of those items that you should buy just for the fun of it! Grab a couple and have them handy for Christmas or House Warming gifts...
Great Gift August 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We received our first Oster Electric Wine Opener as a gift from a friend. Since then we have been giving it as a gift again and again. It is simply great!

Received this as a gift and it was the best thing I ever got! We have two homes so I immediately had to get one for our other house and have also since given this as a gift. My friends loved it and then said "we have to get another one for our boat, this is the best thing we ever got," so if you are a wine drinker or you entertain this is a must have!
Couldn't be better August 13, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've used this opener for about a year now, and I couldn't be happier with it. Among all the wine opening technology, this is one of the few that works consistently. It's also great for people with hand/arm problems (repetitive stress, carpel tunnel, etc.) because it works with the push of a button.
Amazingly powerful August 4, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Our daughter gave this to my wife, who has difficulty opening a wine bottle. It is amazingly powerful and pulls the cork right out of a wine bottle. But, the corkscrew does go all of the way through the cork. I thought it would seal itself, but it does not. We have been in the habit of putting our partially used bottles of wine on their side when storing them in the refrigerator. The cork seeps wine. We now need to find room in our refrigerator for the bottles to stand upright.
