I gave this opener to my niece for her bridal shower and she loved it. I had given two as a Christmas gifts so I knew how well they worked. It makes a nice, unusual gift at a good price. Highly recommend this product.

Best thing ever invented for a wine lover. I liked mine so much, that I have given 6 friends one just for fun. Cork stay intact and it only takes seconds to open a bottle of wine.
Bought one for my son in law August 18, 2007
My expensive Brookstone manual opener broke and I bought one for myself and liked it so much I sent one to my daughters husband who also has need of opening wine bottles from time to time. He is enjoying it as well!
Why didn't I buy this a long time ago? August 15, 2007
I bought this as a gift and when I saw it in action I had to return and buy a couple more, one for myself and another for a gift. I plan on buying more. This is going to be my stocking stuffer for my adult kids at Christmas. The action is smooth and effortless. No more wrestling with the old fashioned openers for me.
