my boyfriend and I open about 3-4 bottles of wine a week. We have had this opener for 3 months already and every bottle we have opened so far has come out perfectly. The opener could not be easier to use...its one button to both unscrew and release the cork. The cork comes out intact every time to reseal the bottle after drinking. No broken pieces of cork in the bottle and no broken corks period! Another plus as another reviewer notes are the "oohs" and "ahhs" of guests upon a simple demonstration.

This is a great bottle opener. Works very easily. My 88 year old mother is legally blind and she can use it with no trouble. After she got hers all of her friends have purchased them as well. I highly recommend this opener, not just for the old but for everyone who has struggled with removing a cork.

I bought this for my 90 year old mother in law who still likes a glass of wine in the evening but couldn't use other wine openers due to her arthritis. She has no trouble now and loves the opener.

Skeptical at first, all one has to do is follow the instructions. Have taken this to dinner parties and even camping trips. No more awkward and sometimes dangerous mechanical corkscrews for me. I've already sent 2 more as gifts for wine drinking friends. Will order more this Christmas as gifts, especially for older folks with arthritis.
