Senseo HD7810/15 1450-Watt Single-Serve Coffeemaker, White
I recently purchased this coffee maker. Before doing so I read the reviews in which I find very helpful. Thanks everyone for the tips on the coffee and how to use the coffee maker. I really like the coffee maker because it is so easy to clean. You just throw the pod away when done no more messy coffee grounds. I heard from the reviews that the senseo coffee was horrible tasting so I was a bit concerned when I had purchased alot of senseo coffee. Well, I bought the barista coffee flavors, cafe mocha, latte vanilla and caramel macchiato. I like my coffees doctored up with stuff...when I first tasted the coffee without anything in it, well it really did not taste very good..but then again I put sweet creamers in my coffee and I do not drink it just black. So, for me I think the senseo coffee pods are fine. They do have some new flavors out and perhaps they have taken everyones account for the poor tasting coffee and made something better. It might be worth a try. Thanks for the tips on where to buy other pods...aloha web site. The only other thing is they promised a 20.00 rebate and I did not receive it in my package.

We used one of the Senseo coffee makers while we were renting an apartment in Paris this summer. I was hooked, and wanted to buy one when we arrived back in the states. I love this coffeemaker. It is quick, and it makes a great cup of coffee. I would recommend it to my friends.

I use it usually several times a day. It makes great coffee and the espresso coffee is also very good. I also use it all the time to make cups of noodles or hot chocolate and the fact that it doesn't have a hot plate technically makes it ok to have if you are in college and live in a dorm.

This is our second unit. We had one in our home and also had to have one in our 5th wheel trailer for use on the road away from home (to much trouble moving one around, LOL). Best price we found was here on Amazon.
Good purchase October 24, 2008
Very convenient, however even after flushing it, putting the washable parts in the dishwasher, etc there was a noticeable 'plastic' taste for the first week. It seems to have gone away now but that was disappointing. It's also a bit noisy but a small price to pay for the easy to use features and the speed and ease that I can now make a cup of coffee quickly with no clean-up.
