these are really cute and perfect size for that single shot espresso drink! I don't feel any kind of heat coming through these glasses due to the double wall design. but they are very fragile and must be washed and handled with care.

The thermal glasses are great but I expected them to be alittle bigger. Guess I meant to get the 12oz but these work fine. They don't sweat. I thought they would be plastic but it's blown glass! Do they break easy? I guess I'll find out!

For the most part, I love these glasses. I just ordered my 2nd set, however, as many other reviews have mentioned. I too, think these glasses are far to delicate. One of the glasses broke by putting an ice cube in. The other one broke by simply falling over. Lastly, my recent order of a set of two glasses, one arrived broken in the box. Very Frustrating!!

These glasses are certainly unique and that is their primary attraction. They perform their intended purpose, thermal protection, moderately well but don't drop them; you'll be picking up shards and slivers forever. They are also pricey, but if you want a conversation piece and can "love them tenderly", they are almost worth the price.

The only problem is that they are fragile. I busted my first one puting ice in it from the refrig. Once you learn that and accept the fact that you will bust one every now and then, they are perfect for chilled wine or hot drinks for my wife.
I will replace them as broken and accept that as a cost of a great product
