I really like these glasses and I'm ordering 2-at-a-time until I have a set of 12. These are great birthday and Christmas gift suggestions when family asks what I would like to have.
Granted, I do take very good care of the things that I own. I troubles me greatly to break something that I have purchased. Admittedly, I have not dropped ice cubes into these glasses, but I have scooped ice into them, gently; however, I did knock one into the sink from the counter-top and I held my breath.... it didn't break. *whew*
Buy them, enjoy them. They'll last you a long time if you use a little TLC.

The item was received in good condition; however one of the glasses
broke at the base of the thermo wall and liquid leaked into the bottom.

These glasses are wonderful for keeping drinks cold and there is no condensation problem, so no need for coasters. You need to be careful, because they are a bit fragile. I didn't give them 5 stars only because I've had problems with some of the ones I've ordered being defective, specifically, the bottoms of a couple of them were not flat. Also, they come with a white logo on the bottom which shows through the glass, but fortunately, it eventually washes off in the dishwasher.

Never used Amazon before. Very quick, got exactly what I wanted for less$ These glasses are the greatest. I never use coffee cups any more.

I was a little uncertain about purchasing these glasses after reading negative reviews about their fragility - but I have to say our set of four has not given us any indication of cracking or failure. We do wash them by hand more than in the dishwasher, but that is more because of our fondness of using them than for their supposed fragile nature. I'd encourage anyone to buy these - they are beautiful and functional and much better than drinking from their plastic counterparts.
