Perfect Espresso Glasses June 4, 2008 The double wall is great! Really keeps the outside cool. And for the people who have written bad reviews about their size; Hey, if you're pouring more than 2 ounces....get a bigger glass! These are perfect for a 1-ounce shot with room left for a bit of cream (or Torani's Sugar-free Chocolate syrup, or both!) And sure they're a little fragile... they're GLASS! Just don't toss them around and they'll be fine. And as far as the shipping, mine came packed good enough to survive a plane crash! Summary:Nothing bad to say here. They're all good.
Nice Glass! May 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Keeps drinks cool- No condensation. Only one complaint: Too wide for small hands. Perfect for my boyfriend, too wide for my small (not tiny) hands.
I DRANK THE GLASS!!! May 20, 2008 Do not put ice cubes in these glasses unless you want to swallow glass! After sipping from the glass, I looked down and realized the glass bottom had shattered. It did not happen when I put the cubes in the glass...it happened later - when I had sipped half the beverage.
So sad - I had so many compliments on these before that happened....they were my favorite. :-(
Great for hot or cold May 19, 2008 Love my hot tea and there is something very classic about drinking it out of a clear glass. Although the thinner glass is more easily broken, the insulating properties of these double-wall glasses make holding a hot beverage very pleasant. I would definitely recommend Bodum glasses to anyone who enjoys relaxing with a hot or cold beverage.
Fun & Functional May 2, 2008 I received this set as a gift. I love them, they're good for coffee and for wine. I use an aeropress (which means that I press down on the mug/glass in order to make coffee). I do try to support the aeropress more with my hand with these than when I'm using my mugs, but even when I forget to be careful I haven't had any problems.
I wash them in the dishwasher every time. No cracks, no breaks, no water. At least not yet. I'm probably jinxing myself by writing this...
