great product terrible shipping January 23, 2008 These glasses are great! However, It took three shipments from Amazon to get them all and have none broken. I ordered 8 glasses for a Xmas present. I didn't get the complete set in time. Each time I called I told the customer service person that the glasses weren't wrapped securely and that is why they were breaking. I was totally totally unsatisfied w/ the response any time. One of each set was broken in every package delivery that I received!! Buy with enough time to get reorders if this is for a gift!!!!I have shopped w/ Amazon for years with NO issues whatsoever! I was very surprised.
Wonderful thermo glasses January 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a great way to drink espresso or other cold or warm drinks. Because of the double wall you don't burn or freeze your fingers! I recommend others to buy this product for sure. And it's Swedish quality, very good that is! (I'm partial, I'm Swedish)
Slightly odd but highly functional January 18, 2008 These glasses work superbly to hold drinks at the desired temperature. The glass is ever-so-slightly milky and the rim has some very small imperfections -- this does not detract from the utility at all, but just to note that it is not a Riedel O glass in disguise.
I also use the espresso size: perfect for the intended function, but also a very nice small container for a bit of ice cream!
One does not realize how often the very hot exterior of a cup filled with hot liquid is painful or awkward before using this glass with its room-temperature exterior.
Not fragile -- have not succeeded in breaking one yet, despite some honest effort.
no quite what i was expecting January 16, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was expecting something with a little more heft, like a shot glass, but these are insulated with air, and deceptively light, and tip over very easily. I will not be purchasing any more of these.
Very Nice but Fragile January 14, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
These double wall expresso cups are both pretty and funtional. The best part about them is you don't have to worry about burining your fingers when they are full of hot expresso. They are very light weight and the glass is thin. So after 1 week of owning them one has already broken. I am now looking for a replacement. If they were a bit more durable this would be a 5 star item.
