Love these! They are comfy in my hand, much better than my Global knife. They have a good weight, a nice edge and you can use them for everything. I will say my Global has a finer, sharper edge...but these are better when doing a lot of cutting, since they are so well fitted to the hand.

I selected this product after reviewing other reviews and comparing specifications online. I was very pleased with the quality, and the balance of these knives. The cutting of salad greens, and thin slicing meats, is clean and without tearing the product. The bamboo presentation box is not the quality equal to the knives, but makes a nice place to store them. I also compared the price with other brands and found these knives to be better in quality, and less in price to others of known brands. To have two good knives in your kitchen, will allow the cook to enjoy the process of preparing.

These are the sharpest, lightest, best all around knives I have ever owned. They work well with meats or vegetables. Sharpening is very easy with the Furi sharpening system (which I also used on my other kitchen knives). Only complaint is my hand slid down the spine of the knife when I was chopping lots of harder veggies (like beets) and I got a blister on my finger. Also, it is good to have dry hands since the handle is also metal.

My father was very, very particular about selecting and maintaining his kitchen knives, but I haven't been able to live up to his high standard until this set of knives was given to me as a gift. They're wonderful! I had good knives before, but these fit my hand like a dream. I have turned into a vegetable chopping demon. A friend of mine, who is a sous chef at a high-end boutique restaurant, also owns Furi knives & loves them. One suggestion--get the stainless handles, not the plastic. But get them!

..........I PAID TOO MUCH FOR THESE KNIVES, THOUGH THEY WORK WELL. I SHOULD HAVE SHOPPED AROUND.
