Not much to say: Perfect fit for my Chambord, durable though not indestructible -- When ya gotta replace the old one, this is the way to go. Can't live without that coffee.....

it's bloody expensive for just the silly glass.
Go to Smart and Final for the same brand and get the whole thing for under the same cost!!!

I never would have guessed that Amazon would have these, but we were able to salvage a perfectly good coffee press after the beaker broke.

After reading a few reviews of the bodum replacement beakers, I decided that I had an 8 cup Bodum. I'm glad I was right! Now, I enjoy coffee just the way I like it every morning and know that I can order another replacement when I break it in the sink...which I think is inevitable with my skill at dishwashing.

The press makes a great cup of coffee, but the damn beaker will break if you breathe on it wrong. I have beer glasses that have dropped 3 feet onto a tile floor without even chipping. Why can't Bodum use some of this technology?
