 Great! ...until it broke November 28, 2008
I got at least 20 good uses out of this wine saver until the pump broke as I was pumping the air out of a bottle. Disappointing, but it was good enough while it lasted that I will probably buy another (I still have the 2 corks that go with it, anyway). But heed this warning: stop pumping when you start to feel resistance. The pump clearly isn't built to take a lot of force.

Out of the box I was a bit disappointed by cheap construction. When I tried to pump a bottle I was disappointed to see that it didn't appear to be working. Maybe it's just my copy, but the pump part leaked air while pumping. I found that a damp dish rag or a plastic grocery bag to choke the pump and make a tighter seal helped. For the cheap bottles of everyday table wine that I use this for it gets the job done, but for more expensive bottles you will definitely want to go for something better.

Easy to use and it works beautifully...I corked two wine bottles and they stayed fresh for weeks, a lot longer than the product info even indicated. I'm very happy with this product and am considering giving it as gifts.

Great for all of us that do not finish a whole bottle in one session. It preserves the wine flavor and aroma nicely until the next time you want a sip or two.

A few months ago I purchase this wine preserver, and so far it has been reliably done it is job. I have tried several other products; however, I cannot say the same. This vacuum sealer is quick and easy to use--insert the plug and a couple of pumps, and you've got a good seal. Plus, it nicely matches my other Metrokane wine tools, e.g. Rabbit.
