Large Thermal French Press November 16, 2008 We recently discovered the french press method for making coffee. This method is quick and simple and produces a rich cup of coffee. The presses I could find were small and I found myself making many batches when we had guests. This large french press will make enough coffee to serve 5-6 people with one batch. It also keeps the coffee warm for a long period of time. I also found that this press produces a cleaner coffee with fewer grounds getting past the filter. Although a bit pricey, I would recommend this product.
Great Coffee! October 14, 2008 While my only other coffee press experience has been a small 5-cup glass press I used for 6 months in the desert... I'm more than happy with this one! Holds much more, stays hot and easy to clean overall.
Perfect size for a crowd September 11, 2008 I frequently have guests over for coffee, and this is the perfect size so I do not have to brew 2 pots. And it keeps the coffee warm for a significant amount of time.
Making coffee & tea just got better August 10, 2008 Been using this press for about three months now. Never used a press before in my life but heard this was the way to go. This includes making coffee or tea. I read about the four to five minute rule for brewing coffee which is extremely fast! The five minute brew works for me because I like the richer taste. What I didnt know was how to make proper tea with the press. After a little trial and no errors ;) I came up with what I think is a great way to brew tea.
-Heat your water in the microwave. While that's happening put loose tea in the press. This depends on how much your gonna make.
-Pour the warm water in the press. Put the lid on but dont press. Let that sit for however long you prefer your strength of tea.
-Press it then pour into your container.
-Outstanding!
Final thoughts...
-A very solid carafe -Sturdy handle -Drip-proof spout -Heavy duty stainless steel -Plastic filter with a silicone seal
This press is of the highest quality and built to last.
Great Press! July 23, 2008 Wonderful coffee press! So sleek and functional. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend purchasing this product.
