Pros and Cons February 13, 2008 Ok, I am not going to disagree with what anyone else has said here. But here is a summary:
Pros: Lots of storage Ok price Get's the job done
Cons: A pain to put together (seriously... I am quite the handyman and it took me over an hour) If a tool was supposed to be included it wasn't The wooden connectors are quite inconsistent (different colors, rough cuts) A pain to put together
oh yes...
And it was a pain to put together!
Overall, worth the money as a finished product, but given the price, it should have been preassembled. Fortunately, once built, the thing seems fairly indestructable.
Cheap, in more ways than one July 27, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think a number of people have been extremely generous in their ratings for this product. The assembly process is tedious in the extreme, the wooden crosspieces are unfinished and splintery, the included rubber mallet wasn't (included, that is) in my specimen, and the finished product is only marginally more attractive than the old cardboard boxes I had my extra wine in previously.
To add insult to injury, mine was backordered almost six weeks, and the vendor didn't bother to let me know; when I inquired, I received a rather brusque and terse reply.
I would NOT buy this again.
nice finished product but tedious to assemble June 12, 2007 Assembling the rack is a little like building a model with those old wooden tinker toy sets; time consuming, but satisfying in the end.
good, attractive product February 18, 2007 this is a good, attractive, and solid wine rack. Assembly was a bit more trouble and time consuming than you might expect (and assembly instructions could be better), but assembly was not all that bad in the end for one this size. I am very happy with it.

It is a great, sturdy wine rack, but was not terribly easy to put together the first time.
