 Gasket breaks after 24-hrs - don't recommend!!! December 11, 2007
I've gone through all six of these stupid things, all of the gaskets break overnight, just use the cork your wine came with.

This product does great for the smaller wine bottles. However the larger ones (1.5 L), with only a slightly bigger opening they do not work for. It would work, if you could get the Rubber sealing porting to stay on when pulling up the lever, however it seems all 6 of mine, are slit in the middle, and the rubber piece comes off. This isn't a problem like I said in the smaller or (table wine) sized wine bottles. So only fitting a specific size wine bottle doesn't seem all purpose to me. I'm not sure if the rubber piece comes off for cleaning or if there even supposed to be that way. I have seen some (owned some) that are not separate pieces, and do not separate in anyway; after four years the lever broke, so these were their replacement....This is just a comment. However for value, and effectiveness-of the size they do fit, seems just fine.

Great follow up concerning their product. Product was as advertised and customer care was A++.

They work. Simple and effective - people with arthritis may have trouble using them easily, however.
Only real beef I have with them is that they aren't exactly attractive. I wouldn't want a bottle of wine sitting out on display with one of these in it.
