Actually I've bought several of the alleged -easy to use - or -newest - wine openers and was always disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised about this one however. It is easy to use, hasn't fallen apart and it works!

Works great. Not perfect every time but pretty darn close. Sure beats others and is a good price.

This opener makes extracting a cork so easy! All you do is center it over the neck, push/pull the lever, and the cork is out.
I also love the foil cutter and the vacuum stopper, great accessories.
No more making a big production out of opening a bottle! This thing takes center stage.

Easiest Wine Opener I have ever used March 18, 2007
This is truly the easiest wine opener I have ever used. It works on every type of cork -natural, synthetic, wax-coated!. No strain - very quick. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the plastic. Time and use will tell, but the plastic seems very light and flimsy. I am leary that the casing will break before the worm wears out! Speaking of which, the fact that it comes with an extra worm is a definite plus.
