a nice item for opening standard 750ML wine bottles, but, opener cannot
be used to open the larger 1.5L bottles according to instructions included - this is information that should be pointed in product description

this wine opener is definitely a very cool little gadget to ooh and aah guests, but it does not always work on every bottle. some corks are too long for the needle to puncture the entire length, so you are left to resort back to a screw opener. also the foil cutter works well but makes the gadget a bit large and bulky to work with. perhaps using a traditional foil cutter and the corkpops model without built-in cutter would be more convenient. otherwise, a great little tool, and surprising how fast the cork just pops right out when it does. :) nice little gift for wine lovers.

One of my friends had bought one of these and I saw it, and the gadget freak that I am. I had to have one. I bought the Legacy model. After I got it and tried it, I proceded to buy five more of the regular Cork poppers for stocking stuffers for all the wine drinkers in the family. Best little gadget to come along in a long time.
Great for Everyone, especially an older adult December 11, 2007
As an occupational therapist, I see people frequently that are limited in their daily activities by arthritis. This is the easiest wine opener ever created. It allows any adult, especially an older adult, to easily open a bottle of wine with no stress to their joints. I would recommend it to anyone with arthritis or hand pain, as it is very easy to use. It can also be used with only one hand.
It is also great for anybody else, and it makes a great POP!
