Think outdoors and sick children July 29, 2007

Great when kids are sick. The cup keeps water cool a long time and the lid with straw makes it easy to drink without spilling.

Other reviews have covered the great performance of the Tervis Tumbler itself. I will focus on why the Toppers are the perfect addition.
After spending repeated $ on disposable insulated cups and lids for my morning coffee in the car I finally decided to get Toppers for my Tervis tumblers.
You may think of Tervis Tumblers as the ultimate cold beverage container; rest assured that they work equally as well for hot beverages. They keep a tumbler of coffee hot for the entire commute. The topper has a molded 'lip' aligned with the drinking/straw opening; this provides a 'dribble' free drinking experience when using the Topper without the included straw. This 'safety' feature allows you to easily align your mouth to the opening without having to look at the cup while driving. I also use them with soda on hot days. It always amazes me to come back to a hot car after summertime grocery shopping and still have ice in my Tumbler (with no condensation in your car's cup holder!)
The Toppers firmly and securely fit on top of the Tumbler. I've never had one come off accidently even when the tumbler is tipped over (great if you have kids that like juice / soda). The toppers and included straws are easily cleaned in the silverware basket of your dishwasher. The polymer resists stains and avoids picking up any 'soapy' taste after repeated washings.
The Toppers allow you to take the Tervis experience on the road; they are perfect for families with spill-prone kids too big for 'sippy cups'; and they save me $ and help the environment by eliminating my disposable coffee cup habit.

The tumblers are beautiful. We like the colorful designs and wish there were even more to choose from. It's been pretty hot weather since we got them and enjoy drinking without the sweat from our old glasses dripping down. It seemed like a lot of money for the glasses but we're glad we ordered them!

Tervis tumblers are the ultimate cup. In summer, they keep your ice from melting and they don't sweat. I use my covered tumbler at work and my papers don't get wet. As an added benefit, you can personalize your tumblers by adding your favorite thing. I have my Corgi wherever I go. It is the perfect cup for home and office.
