Nicely shaped wine glasses that have withstood the dishwasher and a few hard knocks thus far. I thought they were reasonably priced for the quality.
Spiegelau - red wine glasses December 23, 2007
Spiegelau is a good brand for wine glasses. They are sturdy, yet they have a thin rim & nice stem for enjoying good wine. These particular vino grande red wine glasses are good for entertaining when you don't need all of the specific sizes of wine glasses to serve your guests. One size fits all here. Great quality & a great price!

Could anyone tell me the height of the Spiegelau vino grande red wine
glasses as advertised on the Amazon site. I need the style that is approx. 8 inches high and holds about 9 oz of wine (measured to the top of the glass). I currently have Spiegelau glasses this size and can't find them in their collection. These appear to be the correct size based on comments in the Review section. They fit in my dishwasher!

Nice glasses October 24, 2007
These glasses are a bit small for red wine glasses, in fact they are only a bit larger than the std line Spiegetau white wine glasses I already had.
However, for every day use the will suit me just fine. And most peaple unless they are real wine conesuers.

Not at all what I thought. The reviews made this sound like the Reidel bordeaux glasses, but these hold maybe half the wine, are much smaller in volume, don't have much of a balloon shape. Very disappointed. Don't get these if your goal is to replicate the Reidel.
