While I agree that this is small for a full bottle (if you are interested in maximum aeration); but it is just fine if all you are interested in is decanting your wine off of sediment or just getting it out of an ugly bottle.

Buyer beware! This is being advertised here as easily holding a 750 ml bottle of wine. Yes, it will hold one 750 ml bottle but it is actually intended to be used as a 375 ml, 1/2 bottle personal decantor not a 750 ml bottle decantor (according to Reidel - discovered after receiving the product).

This is an excellent decanter - the shape allows for easy handling and it is an excellent value. I have two and would recommend this decanter to anyone requiring a simple decanter.

This lovely Riedel decanter is perfect for one bottle of wine - it shows the color of the wine clearly and intensely. It's a wonderful addition to your table. In addition, when not in use as a decanter it makes an attractive vase. It is approximately 9" tall so is perfect for end table floral arrangements. It would make a welcome gift for any occasion.
