You can buy it at a dollar store December 27, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Ummm. They work great but you can buy the same thing at a dollar store.
Very pretty, so so functionality. October 13, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
They look beautiful but are not very comfortable when trying to grab hot pots, they do not fold correctly or easily. They also let too much heat pass too fast. More style than function, barely acceptable if function is top priority.
Great protection but inflexible disposition May 12, 2007 I love these potholders! They really provide great protection from the heat and are wonderfully easy to clean (just "run them under the faucet" or wipe them and re-hang them). I actually like the holes at the top to hang them by and do not agree with the review that said the holes were hazardous (unless one can't figure out NOT to put your finger THROUGH the only opening that is not protected! DUH?) So what would I change...they are very inflexible and that makes it difficult to take things out of the oven without a lot of fiddling to make sure you've "got a grip". I would definitely buy them again but they are so sturdy I can't imagine having to replace them and with the handy little holes to hang them I don't plan on losing them.
happy with mine! May 9, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i'm very happy with my potholders. i've used them quite a bit and haven't had much of a problem with them flopping into food as other reviewers stated. they aren't extremely stiff, so you ARE able to control the portion you fold over, and obviously where you bend makes all the difference. i like wrapping them around my le creuset handles. GREAT as trivets too, and i even opened a jar with one once! =)
Just okay March 23, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Clunky, clumsy, stiff, if you successfully use padded potholders (or even kitchen towels) these are not all that pleasant. I've pretty much used them as hotPADS for beneath hot pots and not as potHOLDERS. I should have spent my money on new cotton padded potholders. I suspect these will end up in my FreeCycle bag.
