Let me preface this with letting you know I came out of the womb cynical. I noticed that many of the Napa and Sonoma wineries started using this in 2007. At a couple of the vineyards, the people pouring would let me have a side-by-side comparison - a pour from the same bottle - one using the aerator and the other without. Really amazing what the difference was. I loved the way one person at Charles Krug vineyard put it -- he said this device will simply put your glass of wine 1 hour into the future.

Wonderful aerator. We tried this last Memorial day when my dad was visiting and picked one up for us and are now buying it for others. Saves the wine, as you only need to aerate one glass at a time. Does a great job; brings out the nose of the wine most effectively.

This is not only the cheapest wine breather I've found...but the most complete and beautiful. It also does the fantastic job of helping a wine breath. It immediately makes a difference in the taste of a wine. And the effect is immediate, so if your meal is served..you can enjoy the wine right away. this is something new..I live in France and they don't even sell them here yet! Dommage!
