Great opener October 5, 2007 Really like this one. Very easy to use and quick to open a bottle.
Great Product September 30, 2007 This is a great product. Works like a charm and I highly recommend it to anyone. Having trouble with cheap wine openers and breaking off corks? This will make you look like a pro every time. Enjoy!!

I received the wine opener as a gift! It is the best wine opener I have ever owned. I have since ordered 12 of these to give as gifts. Especially good for older people who might have trouble opening bottles.Oster 4207 Electric Wine Opener
Best Wine Item Ever September 24, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
After I used my Oster I realized this was the best household item at the price available. Guests at parties plead to use it. I always have a couple in my gift closet for last minute presents. It has never run out of a charge although I have charged it 3 times in the 9 months I have had mine. Works quickly and is fun to use. Love it.

We first ordered this product last January. It operated quite well until a couple of months ago, July as I recall, when it failed completely. That, I think, is a very poor track record, 6 or 7 months! Being rather handy with tools, I tried to locate the wiring problem and tracked it down to the circuit board. I could go no further with my quest.
Having a wife with minimal hand strength we decided to replace it. I hoped I could find a source for just the bad unit, not the charger or base, but failed.
The only reason we reordered was my wife's desire for independence. Except for that, I think this is a poor product given its life expectancy.
