 Perfect for slowly enjoying a cool drink December 3, 2008
The size, shape, and insulated quality of these glasses make them perfect for slowly enjoying a glass of cold milk....or beer (however I prefer the 13 oz Bodum Assam Double-Wall Cooler/Beer Glasses, Set of 2 for that). I use these glasses like I do any set of glasses and have not had any problem with breakage, as some have reported. However, I would not drop ice cubes in them before putting the drink in first...they are tall, and the cubes would hit the bottom pretty hard. But then why would anyone want to add ice cubes to a cold drink in these glasses?

Set of 2 Pavina 12-ounce double wall cooler/beer glasses
I purchased a set of these with the expectation they would keep my morning latte hot long enough for me to drink it. First, one arrived broken and is being replaced. Second, the glass only was able to keep my beverage warm, not hot, for 45 minutes. If you read the description carefully, it first says; "the glass is held together tighter, resulting in a stronger glass" however it goes on to tell you all the ways to "be gentle with the glass". It also says; "These glasses will help to keep hot drinks warmer and cool drinks cooler." But then goes on to say, "For best results retaining heat, pre-heat the glass before use." I only tried a hot beverage and it do not do significantly better than a traditional glass. The glass is attractive but if you are looking for everyday durability, do not get the Bodum double-wall glass. If you are looking for something that will keep you beverage warm longer that a traditional glass, do not get the Bodum double-wall glass.

I love these glasses, the do not sweat. And although they seem fragile they seam to hold up fine.

I first ordered a set of these for a coffee shop I was managing. They are beautiful and adds a real luxury to espresso making. Our customers loved them and the staff loved using them.
I then ordered a set for myself to have at home. I love pulling a shot into them. they are beautiful.
Also, very helpful in teaching staff what a proper shot should look like because you can see the 3 leves of the shot clearly.
