 Personalized the Viet Nam war and falling in Love December 27, 2002
What I love about the book is it made the soldiers real and ordinary in an extra ordinary situation. And the love story is very touching and solid. It is well written.

An excellent account of what it was like in Vietnam during the war. I know John personally, and am always intrigued by his stories. I recommend "To Have and To Hold" to anyone who is looking for a true-to-life love/war story.

I couldn't put the book down. The Book captures you! If you ever wanted a glimpse of the Viet Nam War, read this book. It's a Love/War story I recommend.
