A must for beginners and experts March 11, 1998 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
This book contains definitions and explanations to virtually every aspect of wine; from basic definitions of common wine verbiage to in-depth explanations of processes, micro-climates, geography, history, etc. It also looks good on your bookshelf.
It's BIG, and it's GOOD February 12, 1997 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This huge volume will make your bookshelf sag in the middle, and you'll have a heck of a time reading it in bed. But if you're ready to move on to serious wine appreciation, it's a must-have, a truly magisterial volume that covers the world of wine in a thorough, accurate and readable fashion
