Great for home cooking! July 3, 2000 15 out of 21 found this review helpful
I am not necessarily interested in cooking outdoors but some friends said this book was full of easy, wonderful recipes. I bought it and use it all the time with great success. Now I am thinking of getting a dutch oven! I highly recommend it.

I just love this book! I gave it to several of my friends for Christmas and they are having a ball with it! Thank you Amazon for handling the book! It has the best, most interesting recipes of any Dutch oven cookbook with lots of helpful information.
Great book for a rookie! March 2, 2000 I just bought a Dutch oven and this book was given to me as a gift to help me get started. I have really had a great time cooking with it and it has delicious recipes in it that are easy and quick to prepare, which is what I was looking for!
Easy and delicious recipes December 14, 1999 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
Minium campsite cooking impact information was useful and directions very clear and simple. There is no magic required to use the Dutch oven just a few Kingsford brand briquettes. I own several Dutch oven cookbooks which all appear to be written for boy scout leaders, nothing wrong with that, however, Sheila Mills' cookbook is unique yet easy to use if you want rave food reviews in camp. All the recipes I have tried turned out to be delicious.
Delicious, versatile recipes for home and camping. October 31, 1999 12 out of 13 found this review helpful
We have used this cookbook at home using our conventional oven as well as in our backyard and on camping trips. The recipes are fairly easy and there is a a good variety to choose from. My kids have even tried some of the desserts and breads. The instructions are straight forward and simple.
