I bake and decorate cakes so I am continually looking for books that will teach me new techniques and new ideas. I was very disappointed that more than half this book was about cookies. If you want a cake book, this isn't worth the money.

I thought this book was amazing. I am truly inspired to try these new techniques. Just a forewarning though - this book does include a lot of molds and using marzipan. She gives a small section of information about the Wilton techniques using Royal and buttercream icing - but the majority of her flowers and such are marzipan or fondant. Still an amazingly beautifuly done recipe/technique cake & cookie book.

This book is absolutely gorgeous. It has beautiful pictures and goes into great detail about how to assemble and decorate your cakes. I am a beginner to cake decorating and this book only made me want to do it even more. I reccomend this book to anyone who has any interest in cake decorating!

The book is full of beautiful pictures and great ideas for cake and cookie decoration.
I loved the sugar paste box, can't wait to try it myself.
The colors she uses for the cakes and cookies are gorgeous and the instructions are clear.

I just received this book today and I'm in love. I don't even know where to begin as every photo in this book is sure to inspire the decorator in all of us. I can't even pick out any exceptional designs because every creation in this book is stunning. There is something in here for every occassion and I highly recommend for anyone's collection.
