I originally picked this book up because the photos were so beautiful. Then I made the Chocolate Oblivion Torte with Rasberry Sauce. If you are a picky chocoholic this is for you. The torte was amazing and the rasberry sauce held all the joys of a summer afternoon. Recently I whipped up a batch of simple meringues using her guidelines....my guests commented on how light & beautiful they were...imagine if I made them when it wasn't raining.

Every cake that I have made from this book is outstanding. Easy to read, helpful tips make even a complicated cake managable. If you want cakes the quality of the best bakery you know, this is the book for you.

I can't say enough good things about this book. The cakes are delicious and the frostings, fillings and more are too good to pass up.
