5 out of 5 stars delicious!   February 14, 2008

I bought this cookbook after just having received a nice dutch oven for christmas. I've cooked about 6 different recipes from this book and they all have been delicious. I did not find the recipes difficult, though some required a large number of ingredients. Some take time to prepare, but most of that time is just simmering on the stove while the wonderful aromas fill the house. And the results are fantastic and flavorful. Every time I've tried a new recipe, everyone has been wowed.

2 out of 5 stars MISLEADING   December 26, 2007

This book's title is misleading. It makes you think the book is easy to use with simple recipes. NOT TRUE. The recipes are so complictated they turn you off when you read them. The author is a professional chef and his instructions show it. Preparation time peeling, chopping, slicing, dicing and cooking instructions are so complex I do not use this book AT ALL. I wanted something fast and easy, like a Volkswagen, instead I got this. An Indie 500 race car requiring hours of work. This book was a letdown, sorry to say.
