Fantastic book!! August 29, 2008
This book is easy to read, and contains many practical, easy to use, yet effective writing strageties that I was able to implement immediately. I am still telling colleagues about things in this book. Perhaps the best book I have read since college.

As a high school English teacher, this book is a wonderful addition to the resources I already have. This has great ideas that I can share with my ENTIRE faculty, not just my department.

This is a great book. The format is easy to follow, and it gives practical information for all teachers. We're even using it for our literacy study group this year at Westside High!
