4 out of 5 stars Fun Book   January 7, 2009
This recipe book uses a lot of healthy ingredients to make traditional Italian more pleasing to health conscious eye. The recipes are good and easy to follow and the variety is wide and varied.

5 out of 5 stars Giad's cookbooks   January 4, 2009
Beautiful book. Excellant condition. My son watches her all day on TV,so now he will try to make some of her recepies. He has his own house and needs to cook. The ingredients and directions seem very simple. Also look delicious.

5 out of 5 stars Great Cookbook   December 30, 2008
I just recieved this cookbook for Christmas and tried the recipe for the Fried Polenta and Marinara Sauce. They were really delicious. I plan on making the Vodka Sauce later this week. This is a really great cookbook of Italian food made easy. All of the recipes in this book use ingredients that can be purchased at even the most rural grocery store. If you can't find an exact ingredient, you could easily sub something similar for it (for example, you could substitute regular bacon for panceta and a smaller amount of dried herbs for the fresh ones).

1 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed   December 11, 2008

I am very disappointed about this book, presentation of book is disappointing, there are so many pictures of Giada and not nearly enough of the food/recipes she is teaching/showing you how to cook. Even a picture of a recipe in final would be better than a picture of a plate of lemons. Living in Australia postage was not cheap, I wouldn't recommend this as a purchase if living O/S because of the price of postage.

5 out of 5 stars Easy and Delicious   December 2, 2008
Not being an experienced cook I am always worried about some cookbooks being a little over the top for me. Not this one. Giada makes the written recipies just as easy to understand as she does on her show. Intimidation factor is low and I enjoy the book.
