This book will make you re-think your "Ultimate Destination" June 20, 1996 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I loved reading the Celestine Prophecy. Although the writingleaves something to be desired in certain places, theNine Insights provided will make you look again at the worldaround you. You will begin to re-evaluate "coincidences"and wonder about your purpose here
An important message, not a literary masterpiece. June 20, 1996 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
An allegory. Not to be read as a literary masterpiece but as an important message. Redfield posits that something bigis happening just beneath the veneer of life's experiences. Seemingly coincidental occurrences move us in pre-destined directions. Following the heart's voice leads to one's true purpose in life. But the heart whipsers so listen carefully. The first few "manuscripts" made sense but the last one went way beyond anything I could relate to. Still, a very important message in an easy to digest format.
A stepping stone to greater things for the general public. June 13, 1996 Though the writing may not be what is considered to be a literarygreat, the book does provide a message that the masses are desperately seeking. With this in mind, and the fact that people who have read this book have considered aspects of life, spirtuality, and human potential and ability that may have never before been considered, I believe a mission has been accomplished.
Horrible. May 17, 1996 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
The only thing good I got out of this book were quick sleeps. Couldn't wait to put it down
Overrated but interesting spiritually October 28, 1995 I can't believe all the hype CP has gotten!?! Rather than reading this book, I recommend The Alchemistby Paulo Coelho. It is about a true spiritual journey AND is well written.
