Her book is a mandatory acquisition for cookery book collectors, food historians and anyone with an interest in Canadian publishing. Driver is the most important force in culinary bibliography and this book shows once again her meticulous care for detail and her passion for the history of the cookbook. It is the most valuable and wonderful addition to culinary bibliography in a decade.
