Superflous material March 10, 2007 13 out of 14 found this review helpful
I did not realize when I purchased this book, after a diagnosis of diabetes, that the recipes were the same as many that were in the original 'Slow Cooker Cookbook'. Had I known that, I would not have needed this one, as I know and use the other and have sent it for gifts. If one is unacquainted with the series, this is a good book.
fix it and forget it diabetic cookbook, slow cooker favorites to include everyone March 8, 2007 8 out of 11 found this review helpful
it's wonderful. When I do not feel like really cooking, I use it. Like it says, fix it and forget it is great to have and it has easy recipes to follow. My husband loves it.
Great recipes for the occasional cook. February 8, 2007 10 out of 12 found this review helpful
I've made a few dishes described in the book and they were both very tasty and healthy. A very nice combination. I found the recipes easy to follow with clear instructions.
Ideal additional cookbook for my parents! January 3, 2007 9 out of 12 found this review helpful
My father is diabetic and he and Mom are in their late 60's, so its always nice to provide them with some easy meals so she is not on the kitchen all day preparing a meal for the two of them!
good basic slow cooker recipes July 31, 2006 14 out of 16 found this review helpful
My dau-in-law is diabetic and this new cookbook has helped me prepare the proper meal. She is at my home at least once a week, and she has also purchased this book as a basic slow cooker reference.
