 Southern Food and Comfort! June 27, 2008
Art Smith is another southern cook who remembers where he came from. His recipes are simple and delicious..I have so many dog-eared pages in this book. here are a few which are incredibly delicious... The Hummingbird Cake, Summer Squash and Lemon Thyme Soup, Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Zucchini and Tomato Frittata, are a few of my favorites in this book. The pictures in the book are all mouth-watering ones too!

This is a good cookbook, it is pretty to look at too. It has full color pictures and really good finger lickin' recipes. I use it frequently.

This cookbok is very well put together. Not only are the recipes fabulous (try the mixed berry muffins), but the photography and poetry are inspirational and just plain lovely. This book is well worth having in your collection.

I find myself reaching for this book again and again. Many of the recipes in it have become my new favorites! I don't know what I did without it. It is a welcomed addition to my cookbook collection.
