I ordered this magazine for my mother in The Netherlands where it is not for sale. She loves gardening, baking (cooking), crafts and entertaining. All subjects are well covered in Martha's magazine. You must be able to withstand the 'martha' talk. It's all rather wholesome to a degree that might be too much for some. However, unlike her tv-program, the magazine is more actual information and less sugar-coated talk.
This issue has a great recipe for the cake on the cover, which reminds me of houses in old town centers in the Netherlands where many a house has a front like the cake-houses. Very nice!
Also in this issue: X-mas tree selection, outdoor lighting ideas, beaded ornaments, gingerbread recipes, great party food, wreaths (make and display), Hanukkah crafts, great personalised gift idea's, etc...
