Excellent Scale February 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
After watching the show several times, I saw this scale in the store and thought it would be a great way to keep track of my weight. It has been a great way to do that, very accurate and it doesn't fluctuate from one minute to the next. ( As long as it is on a flat surface). I would highly recommend to anyone. My only little problem is that it doesn't have a reset button and I can't find out how to reset it.
Horrible product!!! February 22, 2008 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this particuar scale based on the reviews stating that it was consistent and my results were anything but. I bought the scale and put 10 pound weights on it to test its accuracy and it wouldn't register them. I stepped on the scale, received a reading that was far higher than I knew I weighed. I then got on the scale with the 10 pound weights and my weight actually dropped 12 pounds, and the same thing happened three times after. I contacted the manufacturer to make them aware of this malfunction and they said that I needed to allow 15 minutes between each reading and to weight myself at the same time everyday. Well I tried that for 3 days and all three the results were the same as the first day-INCONSISTENT! I usually purchase things based on reviews and never submit one myself but I was so irritated with the product as well as Taylor manufaturer. They didn't even offer to exchange the product, thankfully Amazon took it back.
Totally Inconsistent Readings! February 17, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this scale because of the 5 star reviews I read. Maybe I got the lemon in the batch, but every time I got on the scale there was a different reading which varied up to 2 lbs. When you're keeping track of your weight, you want a scale that will be precise. I guess for the money, it's not bad, but I had a scale of similar value for years which worked well. I guess I'll have to look for that one to buy again.
Very pleased with this product February 8, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this a couple of months ago and love it! It's accurate with my Dr's scales as well. My only tick with it is that "The Biggest Loser" logo that is pictured on the product is just a sticker and was not on the product when I received it, but attached to the plastic around the paperwork. But that is very minor to me.
Great!!! December 27, 2007 For the longest time I was using an old fashion scale but I couldn't tell how much I weighed. This scale works great for me. I got an Error message once because I moved it around without resetting the scale like they told me to. After, I did that it worked just fine.
