great book April 27, 2008 This book has so many good recipes, I have made 4 recipes in the month I have had the book and they are all so good! The pizza hut pizza sauce recipe was dead on. I would really recommend this book!!!!!!!!
Fast Food Fix is awesome! January 24, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I LOVE this cookbook! It has great alternative suggestions and although some selections are time consuming the first time by the second and third it's no big deal. The kids like to pick out their menu and I feel better letting them splurge now that I can make it a lot healthier. Great job Devin!
Amazing November 12, 2007 The recipes in this book are amazing. The Big Mac is spot on (unbelievably so). The Burger King Onion Rings and Chicken Tenders are awesome. The KFC Popcorn Chicken is better than KFC's. If you want low fat "fast" food you just can't go wrong here.
Not impressed September 26, 2007 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
After reading through the recipes, there isn't even one that I am dying to re-create. Honestly, I doubt I'll end up making any of them. They are so time consuming it really makes you just want to go out and buy the real thing.
A lot of these recipes are not good for people who are trying to lose weight. September 13, 2007 3 out of 15 found this review helpful
I just received this book today in the mail. While I was going through this book, I found that a lot of the recipes are not good for people who are trying to watch their weight. This book may be good for people who are interested in finding alternatives to fast food places. In my mind, fast food is still fast food!!!! no matter how someone makes it. I also find a lot of the recipes high in calories. I find that this book can create real trouble for people who are on a serious path to losing weight. Temptation is an evil thing when you are trying to lose weight. All in all, not a good book for people who are trying to make recipes and eatting for weight lose.
