Beatifully written. I would love to be one of the author's neighbours or friends and be invited to try her creations and experiments. She overflows with warmth and generosity ... we could all learn alot from her, and not just how to cook and eat well.

This book is a great read as is anything to do with chocolate. Also a bonus of great healthy recipes. All round worth a 5 star rating.

Clotilde Dusoulier chronicles Parisian food at this website and her book with the same title. At just 27 years of age, Dusoulier gives us over 75 recipes and gives comments throughout. As a lover of scones, I was intrigued by her Carrot and Rosemary Miniature Scones! She also offers recipes for French classics, such as Beef Bourguignon and Pistou. And finally, we discover her recipe for chocolate and zucchini cake, which is divine. In fact, I just tried a variation (I had pumpkin on hand) and made cupcakes for my son's friends at school for his birthday. The children loved them! Food lovers, armchair travelers and Francofiles will love this book for the holidays!
One more use for summer squash August 23, 2007 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
As a lo-carber by necessity (I am a diet-controlled diabetic) I'm always looking for hidden lo-carb recipes or recipes that can be adapted to my diet. This little book that radiates its author's personality has a few useful recipes and is an entertaining read as well.
