I found this book to have a lot of good recipes, and the instructions very helpful in the preparation of the food.
MMMM! July 18, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
So far I've only tried a couple of recipes in the book, but I think many of these are some of the most unique BBQ recipes around. Can't wait to dig in and try some more! Loved the sangria and the grilled polenta! I'm sure this cookbook will be a summer staple at my house!
BBQer with new grill July 5, 2007 The recipes I have tried so far have been great. Very helpful with some of the basics also. Clearly written and easy to understand. Lots of different recipes for lot of different food products. It is very comprehensive. I have a wood pellet grill.
Great bbq book June 13, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a must have for grillers. It's got tons of great recipes for meats, veggies, fruits, and sauces. We've used many recipes and they've all been great.
Gotta love BBQ.. March 12, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This book covers a lot of basic topics in detail. If you have never seen a BBQ or are trying to fill some big holes in your knowledge. This book is for you.
Otherwise I wouldn't waste your money.
That being said I love Raichlen and did read it cover to cover. But I have never even touched it again compared to many of his other books that I refer to on a weekly basis.
