great instruction September 11, 2008 this book has wonderful instructions. It is pretty advanced and requires some equipment hunting but that is what I wanted. this would make a good textbook for a cake decorating class. It didn't have quite as many techniques as I was hoping for but i still learned alot.
excellent November 15, 2007 This is a very good book which shows in detail most of the techniques needed in cake decorating.
Great book October 28, 2007 This book is very easy to understand. There are great pictures to help me learn the techniques I need to decorate.
The basics from several master cake decorators August 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Many different techniques from the best of the best. Whether you like whimsical or realistic, there is much to learn. You'll find mostly gumpaste/flowerpaste technique, but don't expect the chunky "cookie cutter" look. This detail is as fine as it gets. Great for those who want to "rest those weary wrists" as it shows a beautiful alternative to classical piping.
International School of Sugarcraft: New Skills and Techniques (International School of Sugarcrafts), Vol. 3 April 11, 2007 Great ideas and instructions.
