Super Yummy Cookies! November 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Being a baking buff, I'm not too big on store bought cookies and prefer to make my own or I'll buy some fresh from a bakery. Recently on a round-trip flight on Delta Airlines, these cookies or peanuts were offered with the beverages served. I'm not to big on ginger so I almost chose the peanutes (the captain described the cookies as gingerbread cookies). However, I was in the mood to try something different I asked for the "biscotti" (I thought that's what the pilot had said they were but most likely he said "Biscoff"). When I first bit into the cookie I was impressed with the light and crispy texture. They're not too dense and oily like many cookies can be. The flavor was just wonderful! It was prepared for an overwhelming ginger taste, but it was mild and other light hints of spices (maybe cinnimon, nutmeg, pepper...) just complemented each other and made the cookies truly enjoyable. I was so impressed with the cookies, I kept the wrapper they came in and looked for them online. I purchases a bunch of family pack sizes (8 packages that include 32 cookies per package) not only for myself, but for the upcoming holidays. I think they are just wonderful and would make nice gifts for friends and co-workers; that is if I don't eat them all. I will probably end up ordering more just to be on the safe side. Hee hee. Overall I highly recommend these cookies.
Cookies arrived in great condition September 30, 2008 The family pack arrived in very good condition but think I would order the individual packs next time. Cookies get stale if not eaten right away once pack is opened.

The product was delicious. However, we sent it as a gift and there was no way to put a gift card because it didn't actually come from Amazon. I won't order again without a way to attach gift card.
Crisp & Tasty! February 19, 2008 I tasted these cookies for the 1st time on a Delta flight. I was so impressed with the flavor and freshness that I saved the wrapper so I could buy more. I've located the cookie at our local Walgreen's. They are as delicious now as they were then. Enjoy!
Tasted burnt, but company sent new pack! January 31, 2008 I was so excited to get these, but the taste was nothing like I remembered! The cookies tasted burnt, and the color was a lot darker than pictured. When I contacted the company, they blamed it on the packaging, saying they hear this complaint a lot with the family pack. The person I talked to said I'd have more luck with the individually wrapped ones, so she sent me a free box of those. I'm not quite sure how the recipe/cooking process would be different based on how the cookie is packaged--makes no sense to me!--but the company did redeem themselves by offering a new pack. And they do indeed taste a little better.
