Great deal July 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Assembly is very easy and its a nice looking rack. I received several compliments on it the first weekend it was up. I recommend this wine rack to anyone.
Not perfect, but worth the price June 4, 2008 I just put this wine rack together yesterday, and I am happy enough with it. For the price (mine was $58 after shipping), it was definitely worth it, as I couldn't find anything better out there. I would have given 4.5 stars if that was an option.
Assembly - the rack went together fine. The screws went in easily with the hex wrench that came with the rack. The directions were just a picture and no written steps, but since it wasn't a complicated process, they weren't really needed.
Quality - there were a few flaws in the wood. A small gouge in the side, a couple of spots on the curves that were frayed and chipped. The surface of the top of the rack is fine, and it looks good still. The rack feels sturdy.
Functionality - I've filled mine with 22 bottles already and they are staying put. I really like the shelf on top. The rack really maximizes space and holds plenty of bottles. Looks great in the dining room.
Just fine for the price June 2, 2008 Went together without any problems. Looks nice enough to put in a kitchen but mine's in the basement where the temps are more conducive to wine storage.
Does the trick May 19, 2008 Was looking for a cheap wine rack made out of wood (the wire ones are just a bit too unsightly for the kitchen/dining room area) and this is perfect--it holds 28 bottles, was easy to put together, and looks nice. What you see is what you get.
Note that it's worth shopping around for price--a number of different merchants carried the exact same wine rack and some charged close to double what we paid for it, which simply isn't worth it.
Great rack!! May 9, 2008 Easy to assemble and a pretty good looking wine rack. I am just an amateur getting started in wine tasting, etc. and it holds enough variety while taking up very little room. I have been looking for quite some time and this is the best deal I ran across.
